Life of Pi

Things didn’t turn out the way they were supposed to, but what can you do?

It's important in life to conclude things properly.
Only then can you let go.

Fui con una idea de lo que iba a ser completamente distinta a lo que realmente fue. Y la sufrí, la llore, y me dolió. Me costo unas cuantas horas procesar de que es realmente una película muy buena, porque salí del cine shockeada, enojada e insatisfecha con el final. Pero después entendí que el final es un cierre perfecto para el resto de la película. Y ahora puedo decir que todo de esta película me resulto increíble. Arte, significado, frases, me dejo pensando y queriendo leer criticas a ver de cuantos lados se la vio. Es una trompada en la cara de realidad con respecto al mundo animal, (te hace amarlo por un lado y odiarlo por el otro) y a cuan crudo te puede tratar la vida para que aprendas.

Vayan a verla, es un must, pero les voy a decir algo que me hubiese gustado que me digan a mi entrando al cine:
Preparate para ver un drama muy fuerte.

There's no looking back from here, no more dwelling on my fears

A couple of hundred years ago, Benjamin Franklin shared with the world the secret of his success. Never leave that till tomorrow, he said, which you can do today. This is the man who discovered electricity, you think more people would listen to what he had to say.
I don't know why we put things off, but if I had to guess, I'd have to say it has a lot to do with fear. Fear of failure, fear of rejection, sometimes the fear is just of making a decision, because what if you're wrong? What if you're making a mistake you can't undo? The early bird catches the worm. A stitch in time saves nine. He who hesitates is lost.

We can't pretend we hadn't been told. We've all heard the proverbs, heard the philosophers, heard our grandparents warning us about wasted time, heard the damn poets urging us to seize the day.
Still sometimes we have to see for ourselves. We have to make our own mistakes. We have to learn our own lessons. We have to sweep today's possibility under tomorrow's rug until we can't anymore.
 Until we finally understand for ourselves what Benjamin Franklin really meant.

That knowing is better than wondering, that waking is better than sleeping, and even the biggest failure, even the worst, beats the hell out of never trying.

Breaking Bad y el amor.

En Julio 15 vuelve mi serie mas preferida de todas. Y me di cuenta que hasta ahora nunca escribi sobre Breaking Bad.

Sigo esta serie desde el 2010 y todavia me acuerdo volviendome loca bajandola de torrent (No existía Cuevana, ni hablar de que la den por la tele todavía). Clavándome 5 capítulos por día en el momento que mas viciada estaba.
El que la ve o la vio sabe de lo que estoy hablando. Esta serie tiene mucho mas allá que simple entretenimiento, es inteligente, esta increíblemente bien pensada, todos y cada uno de sus personajes esta excelentemente bien hecho y la conexión entre ellos es impecable. Esta serie me hizo desde llorar de tristeza, de amor, hasta gritar de bronca ya agarrar el monitor con las manos temblando sin poder pestañear. Me acelero el corazón.
Amo ver series, amo las series, amo el cine, probablemente desde que tengo uso de razón es así. Y siempre que veo algo que me gusta mucho me meto y lo vivo muy intensamente. Por muchos años estuve convencida de que quería estudiar Cine y actuación. Me fascinaba absolutamente todo lo que tenia que ver con las películas, las cámaras, el detrás de cámara, el desafío de lograr protagonizar el personaje que te tocaba.
Tengo idea de lo que es una buena puesta de cámara, tengo idea de lo que es una buena fotografía, tengo idea de los factores que logran que una escena o un dialogo entre un personaje y otro sea perfecto.

Y Breaking Bad es arte por todos lados.

A mi me atrapan dos tipos de series: Las que me te hacen reír o las que te hacen trabajar la cabeza. Las escenas o hechos que me dejan estúpida por la inteligencia del grupo de gente atrás de cámara escribiendo el guion. Series que me dejan pensando después de dormir, al otro día en ese capitulo que vi. Y cuanto mas lo pienso mas cosas descubro.
ESO hace a una buena serie. O a una buena película.

Perdí la cuenta de la cantidad de veces que soñé con los protagonistas de Breaking Bad. 
Perdí la cuenta de a la cantidad de gente que se la recomendé y la vio por mi y la amo tanto como yo.
La cantidad de veces que termine la temporada llorando y volviéndome loca con un final tan desesperante que NO PODES CREER que tengas que esperar UN AÑO para ver como sigue.
Solo dos series en mi vida, hasta ahora, lograron moverme así. Lost (que la vi cuando iba al colegio.) Y Breaking Bad ahora.

Sentía que me debía a mi misma escribir sobre esta increíble serie y se lo debía a la serie misma por todo lo que me provoca. No puedo esperar al 15 de Julio.
